The Hellenic National Defence College (HNDC) constitutes the supreme academical foundation of the Armed Forces, Hellenic Police, Fire Service, Hellenic Coast Guard Officers, as well as to public employees of different organizations and other institutions, providing distinguished academic knowledge in the broader field of Strategic Studies.

HNDC, as the highest military educational institution of Greece, is called upon to educate, train, and broaden the intellectual horizons of its students, enabling them to cope with relevant issues within their responsibilities.

Our education philosophy is based on intellectual and academic freedom, as well as providing knowledge as a trigger for further study and research. Lectures from distinguished personalities of the academic community, Officers of the Armed Forces and the state apparatus of Greek society, as well as recognized figures from abroad, assist HNDC mission.

Shaping the academic framework and collaborating with peer institutions abroad, Greek and foreign universities, HNDC is constantly seeking to upgrade its educational work, to enable its students meeting the standards required timely, correctly, and adopting critical thinking.
