From Monday, March 16, to Friday, March 20, 2026, a Seminar for Newly Promoted Flag/General Officers was organized by the Hellenic National Defense College (HNDC), under the auspices of Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS). At the beginning of the seminar, the Commandant of HNDC, Rear Admiral Konstantinos Pitykakis HN, welcomed the flag Officers and congratulated them on their promotion, followed by a greeting from the Director of Studies at the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Michael Angelopoulos. The thematic modules of the seminar included : a. Priorities of Greek Foreign Policy and Greece’s relations with various countries. b. Strategic Crisis Management and Crisis Management of National issues, NATO and EU issues management, as well as media management. c. International and humanitarian law of Armed Conflict. d. Economic matters of defence and AF. Speakers – lecturers of the seminar included HNDGS staff officers, Directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as distinguished University Professors, from HNDC Teaching Personnel. More specialized briefings on relevant matters were given by the Chief of Staff at the Hellenic Army General Staff, the Deputy Chief of Hellenic National Navy General Staff and the Deputy Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff.
