On Thursday,  July 15 2021, a delegation from the National Institute of Strategic Studies of the Federal Republic of Nigeria visited Hellenic National Defense College.

From 31st of May to 11th of June 21 was organized by the Hellenic National Defense College in the auditorium of the college and at the auditorium of War Museum, a seminar for personnel of the three Branches of the Armed Forces, appointed to serve as attaches or at as staff of International Organizations.

On Wednesday, June 23, 2021, students of the National Defense College of Nigeria paid, as part of the annual educational trip of their School, a visit to the School of National Defense of GEETHA.

The Nigerian delegation consisting of 33 students led by the Deputy Commander of the College Lieutenant General Adikwu Elias Attu and the Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of Nigeria in Athens Mary Ozonwanji, had the opportunity to tour the premises of the School and to be informed about its mission and project.

On 23rd March 2021 the School Award was held for its 70 consecutive years, as an official factor regarding national Defence Strategy Issues, as well as its services to the training of the High Ranked Armed Forces Officers and Ministry Civil Servants.

The announcement of the award  took place after a special session devoted to the 200 years of the Greek Revolution, organized by the Academy of Athens and the speech delivered by the Academic Mr Emmanouel Roukounas.
